JC, West Bergen

West Bergen in New Jersey is unique in that the neighborhood offers the flexibility and convenience of suburbia, with easy access to downtown Jersey City as well as Manhattan. Tree-lined streets, parks, and cars give it that open space feel and relaxation of a small town. The best part is that if needed, there is easy access to the Light Rail as well as all of the PATH stations.

West Bergen is also home to a lot of green space and parks. Hackensack Riverwalk is long eight mile park: home to acres of beautiful waterfront views and walking trails. Additionally, Lincoln Park has been historically recognized and has set the president for the west side of Jersey City to be established further as a place for historical preservation.

The neighborhood is home to several gated communities as well as a local college, New Jersey City College. This has drawn in a lot of boutiques, thrift shops and cute eateries over the years like Miss America Diner, an establishment that has been around for more than 75 years. The changing atmosphere has brought in substantial revenue to the city and many residential and retail renovations are planned for the upcoming years.
